This part of the Municipality is very important.
The IT Department are mainly responsible for running of all the modules of every department as most of the work in the Municipality is computerized and all the records are stored in the Server of Bolpur Municipality.
The following responsibilities are executed by IT Department.
- Maintaining of Birth and Death server.
- Handling all the hardware & software related issues of all departments and projects.
- Docketing e-mails of Bolpur Municipality.
- Uploading of e-tendering.
- Follow up & composing e-mails of Bolpur Municipality.
- Uploading of Notice.
- Uploading any important Report of Govt.
- Providing the service of Lakshmir Bhandar.
- Overall responsibility of BSK.
- Overall reporting of Duare Sarkar to District as well as State.
- Provide overall technical support to all the departments and projects.
- Overall arrangement of Video Conference.
- Daily maintenance and updating of website of Bolpur Municipality.
- Maintenance of total IT asset register.
